About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at First Student. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with our vehicles, using your technical expertise to identify and resolve problems.
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with mobile emergency services and respond to breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • 3 or more years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles.
  • A valid driver's license and a willingness to obtain a CDL (we will provide training for this).
  • A mechanic's tool set and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • A commitment to safety and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
