Key Responsibilities- Offer legal counsel and insights to clients regarding labor law issues.
- Perform legal research and evaluations.
- Draft and assess legal documents, such as contracts, policies, and agreements.
- Advocate for clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
- Conduct workplace inquiries.
- Remain informed about developments in labor laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to formulate case strategies.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in defending federal and state wage and hour cases, including collective and class actions.
- Experience managing investigations before relevant labor departments and agencies.
- Experience representing clients before labor relations boards concerning union activities, collective bargaining, and unfair labor practices.
- Proficient in handling employment litigation in both federal and state courts.
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law institution.
- Licensed to practice in California.
