Job Title: Director of Plant Maintenance

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Plant Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations at our Keyser Healthcare Center location.

Purpose and Belief Statement:

The Maintenance Director is responsible for providing dependable maintenance services, hiring and directing staff, and generating profit through improved operating efficiencies and reduced costs. This role requires a professional image and a proactive approach to maintaining CHS centers, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare work schedules and supervise maintenance team activities
  • Administer annual budget for maintenance and conduct environmental rounds
  • Plan, develop, and schedule preventive maintenance for the center
  • Administer contracts for outsourcing maintenance functions and perform maintenance activities as required
  • Evaluate staffing needs and monitor inventory of supplies
  • Participate in safety committees and maintain records of equipment and building repairs
Qualifications and Experience:

Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent experience plus 3-5 years related experience. Prior work experience in a related field plus at least 3 years prior management/supervisory experience.
