About the Role

Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
  • Work with the Engineering Manager to ensure maintenance requests do not disrupt production processes.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate materials and spare parts within approved budgets.
  • Ensure safe working practices are applied to all maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support for the design and installation of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment.
  • Manage third-party maintenance contractors and ensure they follow site procedures.
  • Perform regular facility walks to identify and address any issues.
Requirements
  • Extensive mechanical and electrical experience.
  • Advanced communication skills with ability to delegate daily assignments.
  • Ability to continue learning new technology and techniques to reduce redundancy and recommend cost-saving ideas.
  • Excellent planning and leadership abilities.
  • Prior lead experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
  • Able to function in a leadership role and interact positively with employees, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Skills
  • Solid expertise in developing creative solutions in a fast-paced setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of all steps required in the installation or repair process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Department Supervisors.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
