The Assistant Manager of Production Operations plays a crucial role in supporting the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist Supervisors in the SelectRx division. This position is responsible for ensuring operational measures are obtained and helping to manage the pharmacy staff internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervisory Duties: Direct supervisory responsibilities include orienting, training, monitoring, and evaluating the performance of departmental personnel.
  • Staff Management: Supports the management of the pharmacy staff, including determining workload, delegating assignments, and scheduling.
  • Quality Improvement: Assists in delivering and maintaining employee Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and/or corrective actions, and supports quality improvement by implementing and adhering to all SelectRx policies and procedures.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Participates in the screening, interviewing, and evaluation of employee candidates, and makes recommendations to hire, promote, or discipline current employees.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Operates within professional standards in compliance with Federal, State, Local, and Business regulations, and enforces laws regarding the practice of pharmacy.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience working in clinical manufacturing preferred, with 3+ years of leading fast-paced, metric-driven teams.
  • Skills: Strong time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with proven conflict management and resolution skills.
  • Certifications: Familiarity with Six Sigma principles, with Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt preferred.
