Job Description

**About American Leak Detection**

As a leading provider of non-destructive leak detection and repair services, American Leak Detection is committed to delivering exceptional results to our customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Field Technician Apprentice to join our team in Canyon Country, CA.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist senior technicians in the field with leak detection and repair services
  • Learn and utilize advanced technologies, including scuba certification and underground line tracking
  • Develop skills in plumbing-related repair work and line location
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals

**Requirements**

  • Must be 21+ years old for company vehicle insurance purposes
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Ability to move/lift up to 100 pounds
  • Experience using power tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently
  • Neat, professional appearance
  • Meet physical labor requirements

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Mechanical and labor background
  • Familiarity with leak detection, plumbing, irrigation, and/or experience in plumbing slab/sewer work
