Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team at Seton Residence, a private facility providing resident-centered care to 65 retired Catholic Sisters. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Respond to call lights and patient requests promptly, providing emotional support and reassurance as needed.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition, including unusual symptoms or reactions.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any issues to the Charge Nurse.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High School Degree or GED preferred.
  • Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care facility preferred.
