Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Rise Baking Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical drive systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Identify and resolve electrical issues with plant equipment, including wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors, and AC/DC motor drives.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on all plant equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct building maintenance and repairs, including air conditioning, lighting, and forklift maintenance.
  • Perform small repairs on equipment to prevent long-term downtime until permanent repairs can be completed.
  • Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel and ensure compliance with all food safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete assigned tasks and achieve maintenance goals.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 3+ years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role.
  • Experience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS and lockout/tagout programs.
  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts to identify solutions and solve practical problems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
