About the Role

We are seeking CRNAs who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and are committed to excellence in their profession. As a CRNA at UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your commitment to providing the highest level of care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia and related care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients' reactions to sedatives and anesthetic agents and inform the anesthesiologist of any adverse conditions
  • Assist with the teaching and evaluation of newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs
  • Participate in the Quality Improvement (QI) process through documentation, incident reporting, evaluation, education, and implementation
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
  • Board Certified, Recertified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • AHA-approved ACLS/PALS certifications as required by institution of employ upon hire
