  • Calculate medication dosages based on prescriptions and established guidelines.
  • Input prescription details into the pharmacy dispensing system for pharmacist verification.
  • Document prescription clarifications as directed by the pharmacist.
  • Assist patients and healthcare providers by managing incoming calls and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Understand and adhere to specific program guidelines.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician with registration in Kentucky.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interpret and follow instructions.
  • Flexibility to manage shifting priorities and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Certification from the Kentucky PTCB.

Preferred:

  • Experience in pharmacy data entry.
  • Basic algebra proficiency.
  • Experience in client-facing roles over the phone.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.
