About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at MRG Exams Careers. As a Disability Assessment Specialist, you will play a critical role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments on Veterans, reviewing electronic medical records and performing in-person physical exams.
  • Document exam findings electronically through a secure web portal.
  • Work independently to analyze data and complete questionnaires to form medical opinions.
  • Meet productivity requirements, assessing 3-5 Veterans per day.
  • Work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
  • Meet credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records systems.
