Air Evac Lifeteam Helicopter Pilot Position

Global Medical Response, a leading provider of emergency medical transportation and healthcare services, is seeking an experienced Air Evac Lifeteam Helicopter Pilot to join its team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while making a difference in people's lives.

The selected candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $92,004 to $101,204 per year, including a 10% geo modifier. In addition, the company offers a range of benefits, including a sign-on bonus of $15,000 and a retention bonus of $40,000 after three years. Pilots also receive 24-hour base housing at all locations and have the opportunity to work on a 7/7 schedule.

As an Air Evac Lifeteam Helicopter Pilot, you will be responsible for ensuring that all operations involving Company aircraft are conducted in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and all state and municipal regulations. Your duties will include:

• Operating the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, with emphasis on compliance with the Rotorcraft Flight Manual
• Monitoring forecast changes and current weather situations
• Conducting preflight checks prior to starting shift and/or accepting transports or flights
• Reporting to work rested and prepared for duty, staying current of weather and forecast changes

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Total flight time: 2000 hours
• Helicopter time: 1500 hours
• Helicopter pilot-in-command time: 1000 hours
• Turbine time: 500 hours
• Night unaided flying experience: 100 hours or night aided flying experience: 50 hours with 100 hours aided

Candidates must hold the following certifications:

• Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
• Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating

A high school diploma or equivalent is also required. Additionally, candidates should be able to meet a weight limit of 230 pounds when dressed in a flight suit and boots.
