The primary responsibilities of the Production Assembler include:
- Assembling various components to produce subassemblies or complete assemblies for electrical or electronic systems utilizing both hand and power tools.
To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential tasks effectively. The following qualifications are required:
Education and Experience- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED); or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
- Capability to read and understand simple instructions.
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to follow straightforward instructions with common sense.
- Competence in handling standardized tasks with minimal variations.
- Familiarity with using a scanner for timekeeping and work tracking.
The physical requirements for this role include:
- Regularly sitting, using hands for handling or feeling, and reaching with arms.
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
