Position Overview:
The Manager of Field Systems Engineering plays a crucial role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our retail locations. This position is integral to our National Real Estate Services team, which is pivotal in our ambitious growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
In this capacity, you will be tasked with:

  • Overseeing field assessments, commissioning, and providing training on refrigeration, HVAC, and control systems.
  • Collaborating with ALDI Facilities and Construction teams, as well as equipment manufacturers, to implement strategic initiatives and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
  • Educating and training stakeholders on advanced systems, leveraging your background in HVACR, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical/Computer Engineering.
  • Driving energy optimization and sustainability efforts through effective communication and training.

Work Environment:
This full-time position allows for a hybrid work model, offering flexibility with remote work options.

Essential Duties:
As a leader, you will:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or Building Automation.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Physical Requirements:
This role may involve working in both office and construction environments, requiring physical mobility and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Travel Requirements:
Domestic travel may be necessary, potentially up to 70% of the time.
