HGV Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV driver to join our team at Collard Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a range of heavy goods vehicles, including bulker, skip, tipper, and grab lorries.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all legal obligations and company procedures, including driver inductions, safe systems of work, and risk assessments.
• Undertake daily driving duties, maintaining communication with the traffic office regarding progress.
• Complete all relevant paperwork correctly and report any incidents or accidents immediately.
• Ensure work is carried out in a responsible and safe manner, with no detriment to the company or its customers.

Requirements

• Hold a class 1 or class 2 CPC card and digicard.
• Have a minimum of 1 year's previous experience in driving similar vehicles.
• Experience in the waste management or construction industry is desirable.
• Attention to detail and good communication and customer service skills are essential.
