Carpentry Specialist

Cleveland Construction is seeking skilled Carpentry Specialists to join our commercial construction team. Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following established safety rules and regulations.
• Install drywall and components to metal stud framing, cutting and measuring accurately.
• Lay out and cut openings for windows, doors, and vent areas.
• Install sheet metal panels, molding, exterior parts, and accessories using hand and power tools.
• Erect and assemble floors, walls, and ceilings using necessary equipment, tools, materials, and supplies.
• Inspect installed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.
• Participate in JHA reviews and ongoing safety training and development.
• Inspect tools and equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.

Education/Requirements/Experience:

• High School GED or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-year experience.
• Pass E-Verify and pre-employment post-offer drug screen.
• Ability to work as a team member and have reliable transportation to and from the project.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

• Work in various outdoor elements, including heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, etc.
• Access all areas of the jobsite, including stairs, scaffolding, ladders, elevation changes, etc.
• Work in physical positions, including kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting, bending, stooping, twisting, etc.
• Move, carry, or position items weighing up to 85 pounds.
