Biologist Consultant

At Environmental Science Associates, we seek a highly skilled Senior Biologist with at least 10 years of experience to lead our biological resources and land management practice in California. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team member with a growth mindset who can conduct plant and wildlife surveys, monitor sensitive biological resources, collect data digitally, analyze results, deliver quality technical written work products, and manage multi-disciplinary projects. Key responsibilities include preparing and managing simple to complex environmental analyses, coordinating with key team members, including staff, subconsultants, and clients. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of relevant environmental regulations and processes in California, particularly in southern California.

We offer a competitive salary range of $96,728 - $145,092 USD, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include leading the preparation of proposals for mid-sized projects, assisting with proposals for larger projects, providing technical input, contributing to proposal writing, identifying opportunities, and engaging with proposal/interview teams. These efforts will include preparing scopes of work and budgets.
