Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician Physician to join our team at NCH. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients with a wide range of health issues and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based direct patient care, including comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of health issues and injuries.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Consult with and provide supervision to support staff as needed.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and act as a patient advocate to ensure ethical decision-making.
  • Communicate patient data and plan of care to patients and families regularly.
  • Follow established documentation practices to ensure accurate and complete medical records.
  • Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with current license to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
  • Board certification or Board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Active DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License.
  • Current CPR certification or specialty-specific advanced life support (ACLS, ATLS, PALS) certification obtained through American Heart Association.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Current knowledge of evidence-based standards of medical care for specialty area.
