Position: Packaging Plant Technician

Employment Type: Full-time - Permanent

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

Ray-Mont Logistics is a progressive company dedicated to serving as a crucial link in the global logistics supply chain. We offer a range of operational logistics services, including the loading, transportation, and storage of surplus goods.

Work Schedule: Day shift (5AM-5PM) - 4/3 rotation, working 4 days one week and 3 days the next, with availability required every second weekend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and arrange designated bags.
  • Gather essential packaging materials.
  • Receive production directives from the Bulk and Bagging Supervisor.
  • Review loading protocols.
  • Verify loading strategy with the Bulk and Bagging Supervisor.
  • Confirm shift loading objectives with the Supervisor and team members.
  • Ensure quality assurance standards are consistently met or surpassed by the Hanger, Loader, and Sewer.
  • Prepare for shift transitions or shutdowns.
  • Report any downtime resulting from mechanical issues.
  • Inform the Bulk and Bagging Supervisor if shift targets are not achieved and provide explanations.
  • Maintain cleanliness around the machinery.
  • Lift damaged bags weighing up to 25 Kg.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
