Exciting Opportunity for a Call-Only Gastroenterologist
We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterology Physician to provide call coverage in a high-volume facility located in the heart of Florida. This position offers a unique opportunity to focus solely on inpatient care while enjoying a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 24-hour call coverage, with in-house presence during the day and beeper call-back after hours.
- Manage a patient load of 15-25 patients per shift.
- Conduct admissions as required, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of a fellowship in Gastroenterology.
- Active medical license in Florida (licensing costs are not reimbursed).
- Experience with ERCP and EUS procedures is mandatory.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Temporary privileges are available for qualified candidates.
- Credentialing process takes approximately 30 days.
- Malpractice insurance is covered.
- Travel and lodging arrangements will be provided, along with a groceries/Instacart gift card during assignments.
- Virtual scribe services may be available to assist with documentation.
