Job Description

At Sealed Air Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Toolmaker Apprentice to join our team. As a Toolmaker Apprentice, you will support Class A and Class B toolmakers in mold cleaning, mold set-up tasks, and light machining. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in scheduled and emergency tooling repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning, and mold set-ups.
  • Perform machining operations under the guidance of toolmakers to support toolroom activities and schedules.
  • Recommend changes to mold designs to improve the life of assets and output of assets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of toolroom practices and fabricating techniques.
  • Follow all Key Operating Procedures, including company and facilities policies, safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and good housekeeping standards.
  • Communicate in a positive and respectful manner to resolve all issues.
  • Ability to complete all documentation accurately.
  • Ability to ask for help when needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Two-year post-high school education in machine trades.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, strong mathematical skills, and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of machine operations.
  • Basic computer knowledge and use.
Pay Range

Minimum $22.00 per hour.
