Job Overview

Community Residences is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Resident Instructor to join our team. As a Resident Instructor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to residents in a residential setting, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to residents to help them achieve their goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to promote resident independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to resident care.
  • Monitor and report on resident progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
