As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, your responsibilities will include:- Delivering direct nursing care following established protocols and procedures.
- Effectively monitoring and documenting patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments in line with approved nursing guidelines.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate discharge planning needs.
- Pursuing professional growth through ongoing education and clinical study.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of one year of acute care RN experience in a hospital setting (National Certification is a plus).

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established healthcare protocols.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions appropriately.
- Evaluate and revise care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Coordinate care among various healthcare disciplines.
- Administer medications and treatments per nursing protocols.
- Assess patient and family educational needs, considering cultural and individual factors.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Current state RN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Additional certifications as required based on unit specialty.
Work Environment:
- Requires critical thinking and the ability to work independently.
- Must be able to function effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Physical Demands:
- Full range of motion, including lifting and handling patients.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Exposure to communicable diseases and body fluids.
