Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Music Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students in grades K-12, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive arts education.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement music curriculum that aligns with state and national standards
- Teach music classes to students in grades K-12, including vocal and instrumental music
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement arts-integrated lesson plans
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in music education
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Single Subject Music Teaching Credential
- Current resume
- Letter of introduction
- CBEST passing status
- CSET passing status or Subject Matter Waiver Letter
- Three professional letters of recommendation from immediate supervisors, signed and dated within two years
- Copies of transcripts
