Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Music Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students in grades K-12, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive arts education.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement music curriculum that aligns with state and national standards
  • Teach music classes to students in grades K-12, including vocal and instrumental music
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement arts-integrated lesson plans
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in music education
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Single Subject Music Teaching Credential
  • Current resume
  • Letter of introduction
  • CBEST passing status
  • CSET passing status or Subject Matter Waiver Letter
  • Three professional letters of recommendation from immediate supervisors, signed and dated within two years
  • Copies of transcripts
