Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional issues in students.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to address student needs and promote academic success.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide support for students with special needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement school-wide initiatives to promote student well-being and academic achievement.

Requirements:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience working as a School Psychologist in a public or private school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, learning theory, and assessment and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administrators.
