Job Summary:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join their team in a school district in Texas. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and emotional well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional issues in students.
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to address student needs and promote academic success.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide support for students with special needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement school-wide initiatives to promote student well-being and academic achievement.
Requirements:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Texas.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience working as a School Psychologist in a public or private school setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning theory, and assessment and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administrators.
