Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Skilled Care of Mexia. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our team of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
    • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Patient Care
    • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
