As an Occupational Therapist with our company, you will have the opportunity to work with pediatric students and provide diagnostic assessments and therapeutic treatments to help them reach their maximum performance potential.
Key Responsibilities- Consult and collaborate with school staff and families to identify cognitive, physical, and motor skill needs, including developmental delays, social skills, sensory processing disorders, and other chronic disorders.
- Conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations to determine students' need for occupational therapy services.
- Participate in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process to develop present levels of performance, goals, and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for occupational therapy services.
- Provide occupational therapy sessions using current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP.
- Maintain all documentation required by the district, including daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current license to practice in the state.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.
