Position Overview:
Amazon Services LLC is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Injury Prevention Specialist to enhance the safety protocols within our operational facilities. This role is vital in safeguarding the health and welfare of our workforce.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Reduce the likelihood of ergonomic injuries through education, awareness initiatives, and timely interventions.
  • Assess the ergonomic requirements associated with various job roles in the facility.
  • Identify and rectify unfavorable ergonomic conditions.
  • Examine trends related to soft tissue injuries and formulate strategies for prevention.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and leadership.
  • Support the execution of Job Hazard Analysis and Job Rotation strategies.
  • Work in conjunction with the medical team to devise treatment plans for first aid incidents.
  • Ensure maintenance of first aid certifications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certification as an Athletic Trainer is required.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications are mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adeptness in recordkeeping.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in an industrial or occupational environment.
  • Familiarity with wellness programs in a workplace setting.
  • Capability to collaborate with diverse teams.
