**Job Summary:** Compass Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Tiger Shark Unmanned Air Systems Maintenance Technician to join our team in Yuma, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Tiger Shark UAS training and operations, as well as knowledge of multiple Tiger Shark models.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough pre-flight checks to ensure safety compliance and regulatory adherence
  • Operate and maintain Tiger Shark models, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Communicate technical information to the Engineering Team, providing expert advice and guidance
  • Participate in flight planning events, collaborating with team members to ensure successful mission execution
  • Disassemble and reassemble 2-cycle engines, performing routine maintenance and repairs

**Additional Responsibilities:**

  • Participate in mobile cross-country operations, providing technical support and maintenance as needed
  • Work extended hours as required, including evenings and weekends
  • Maintain a clean and organized tool inventory, ensuring Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention and compliance with company standards
  • Possibility of up to 20% travel, with opportunities to work on various projects and initiatives

**Requirements:**

  • Experience as a Group 3 UAST, with a strong understanding of Tiger Shark UAS systems and operations
  • Active SECRET Clearance preferred, with the ability to obtain and maintain clearance as required
  • Proficiency in computer skills and GCS software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
  • Mechanical and electrical systems experience, with a strong understanding of UAS systems and components
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field preferred, with a strong understanding of UAS systems and operations

**Physical Requirements:**

The candidate must be able to sit, walk, see, hear, lift up to 45 lbs, and travel as needed. Moderate environment temperature and noise level. Ability to interpret data and documents.
