Job Summary

Barrio Tacos - Willoughby is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing menu items to the highest standards of professional cooking. You will work closely with our Kitchen Manager and General Manager to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and quality food.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare menu items to the highest standards of professional cooking
Meet company standards of quality, safety, cleanliness, and hospitality in providing guests with the most satisfactory food possible
Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portions
Possess basic math skills and working knowledge of cooking measurements
Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standards of excellence and to set a positive example
Follow Barrio operational policies and procedures, including those for safety and security, to ensure the safety of all employees and guests during each shift
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Meet store operating policies of safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation
Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

Benefits

Base pay starts at $14/hour with potential to make up to $17/hour with bonuses paid out monthly. Barrio offers flexible schedules and hours. Barrio offers health, dental, and vision insurance to full-time employees, hourly and salary. Must be available nights and weekends, including Sundays. Full and part-time positions available. Fun, inclusive work environment. No experience required. Free shift meals.
