The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead plays a crucial role in evaluating and predicting financial, economic, and other relevant data to furnish precise and timely insights for strategic and operational decision-making. This position tackles challenges of varying scope and complexity, ranging from moderate to significant.

The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead is responsible for gathering, validating, and interpreting financial data and economic indicators, ensuring that senior management is equipped with accurate information for making strategic decisions regarding acquisitions, investments, capital expenditures, divestitures, mergers, or asset sales. This role involves assessing the financial ramifications of proposed investments or transactions, enabling senior managers to weigh alternatives against the organization's business goals.

Additionally, the Lead evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to project the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive stance. This includes analyzing revenues, expenses, costs, pricing, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates. Financial modeling, reporting, and budgeting may also be integral to this role.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8 or more years of experience in finance and/or accounting, or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of experience in project leadership
  • Experience in advising senior leadership on financial strategies
  • Knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions for internal and external reporting
  • Prior experience in developing methods and criteria for measuring and summarizing data for complex analyses
  • Ability to lead and manage special projects requiring cross-functional collaboration
  • A passion for contributing to an organization dedicated to enhancing consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or CPA strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in the health insurance industry within Finance/Accounting

Compensation Range

The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, with a range of $93,000 - $128,000 per year. This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
