Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Equipment Operator to join our team at AECI-Arkansas Electric Cooperatives Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and maintaining right of way vegetation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ROW vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient completion of tasks and projects
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance of chainsaws and safety equipment
  • Clear right of way vegetation using bucket work, climbing work, and other methods
  • Operate special equipment to control vegetation along right of way
  • Flag obstacles and perform traffic control duties as needed
Requirements
  • At least 3 months of experience and/or training
  • A valid driver's license
  • Able to work in outside or inside working environments with potentially hazardous conditions
  • Able to work in extreme heat or cold and loud areas
  • Able to perform highly repetitive and physical functions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial Applicator Technician
  • Class A or B CDL License
  • Temporary Traffic Control Certification
