Christman Facility Solutions is seeking a skilled Estimating Engineer to join our preconstruction team. As an Estimating Engineer, you will play a crucial role in projecting estimated costs of upcoming projects, aiding other members of the project planning team in the preparation of cost estimates, and assisting in developing unit pricing.

• Project Cost Estimation: Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications at various stages of design, including Concept, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.
• Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed estimates for various project types, including architectural interiors and civil and structural estimating.
• Quantity Take-Offs: Develop and organize Quantity Take-Offs for ease of audit.
• Estimate Review: Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with defined scope of work.
• Team Collaboration: Interact with multiple organizations to review, discuss project scope and estimate basis, and consult on company estimating methods and procedures.
• Documentation: Document management and organization, including preparing notes and meeting minutes.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum one (1) year of work experience in the construction industry, with preference for candidates with estimating experience.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices.
