We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ABA Behavior Technician to join our team at Laugh and Learn Therapy LLC.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct client care in a 1:1 setting, utilizing intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements to promote behavioral skill acquisition and reduction.
- Implement prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols, collecting and recording data on observable client behavior.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress, as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients, maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws.
- Assist in preparing client materials as instructed, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment in an in-home setting.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance clinical skills, professional development, ethics, and technology.
- High School Diploma or GED (over 18 years of age and capable of passing a background check).
- Experience working with children ages 2-21, preferably with children with disabilities, and experience in implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and to assume and maintain various postures for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
- Reliable transportation.
