Pediatric Specialty Care - Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Pediatric Specialty Care in Point Pleasant, PA. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the general health and well-being of our patients by providing direct nursing care.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, assessing, and evaluating the care of patients to ensure the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments to patients as ordered by the physician.
  • Perform and promote timely and accurate documentation.
  • Assist in performing accurate thorough and timely completion of nursing admission evaluations and re-evaluations of patient care needs.
  • Provide evaluation of needs of patient care planning information as necessary and as requested by RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and other healthcare disciplines.
  • Participate in Change-of-Shift Report and be responsible for bringing nursing personnel of next shift up to date regarding the care and needs of patients.
Requirements:
  • Credentials as a Registered Nurse with a current state license in good standing for the state in which work is performed.
  • Valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Training and work experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
