YOUR TRAINING AS A WINE TECHNOLOGIST

Key Responsibilities:

YOUR DUAL STUDY IN BEVERAGE TECHNOLOGY

In the dual study program in beverage technology, you will combine training as a wine technologist with an academic university degree at Geisenheim University. The study phases at the university and the practical phases in vocational training will alternate.

The program focuses on the entire value chain from production to marketing of high-quality liquid foods, including raw material acceptance, processing, process technology, testing, labeling, and marketing of the finished beverages.

The modules cover topics such as beverage chemistry, microbiology, process engineering, water, soft drinks, brewing, fruit and vegetable juices, oenology, raw material science, sensory evaluation, and marketing. In projects, such as beer, sparkling wine, or spirits, you will apply your theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.

By combining training and study, the training time is shortened, allowing you to develop your skills and knowledge more efficiently.
