Job Summary

RPM Living is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Associate to join our team. As a Leasing Associate, you will be responsible for leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure model apartments and target apartments are ready for show and maintaining work areas, common areas, and office in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Complete lease forms or agreements and collect rental deposits.
  • Market the property effectively by answering questions, conducting tours, and promoting community amenities.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and all community policies.
  • Complete move-outs of residents as per the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy SOP's.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Housing Authority policy and procedures to assure residents have a clear understanding of changes that may affect their residency.
  • Regularly 'shop' competitive properties and remain knowledgeable of market conditions.
  • Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program under the direction of the Property Manager.
  • Maintain all resident and property files.
  • Courteous and efficient handling of resident requests and complaints.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of tax credit experience.
  • Property leasing, sales, and/or customer experience.
  • HUD rules and regulations, as well as policies and procedures of low-income housing programs.
  • Excellent follow-up skills via email and phone.
  • On-site experience a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
Work Environment

This role is based on-site, primarily in an office setting, but may require occasional time outside with exposure to the elements. The office is an open setting, which may include bright lights, constant noises, and distractions.
