Loss Prevention Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer - Overnight Security Specialist to join our team at PCH, Inc. As a key member of our hospitality team, this role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our property and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Regular Security Patrols: Utilize advanced surveillance techniques, including state-of-the-art security cameras and technology, to ensure comprehensive coverage of all buildings, grounds, and work sites, deterring potential threats.
- Risk Assessment and Safety Audits: Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits, identifying and promptly addressing potential hazards and vulnerabilities to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Emergency Response and Communication: Establish clear communication channels with local emergency services and collaborate with law enforcement agencies to enhance our emergency response capabilities.
- Incident Reporting and Documentation: Operate a digital incident reporting system to streamline documentation and follow-up on safety hazards, security breaches, or suspicious activities, enabling swift responses and resolutions.
- Security Presence and Guest Engagement: Ensure a visible presence of security personnel throughout the property, fostering a sense of safety and providing proactive assistance to guests and associates.
- Access Control and Security Measures: Integrate cutting-edge access control systems to enhance security and safeguard restricted areas, effectively reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
- Incident Response Protocols: Develop and communicate detailed incident response protocols for different scenarios, empowering security staff to respond swiftly and effectively in critical situations.
Requirements:
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Provide prompt and professional assistance to guests and associates, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effectively communicate with security personnel, guests, and staff to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
- Ability to Work Independently: Work independently to conduct security patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain a high level of situational awareness.
