**Job Summary**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at HomeWell Care Services AR174. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.
- Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, such as walking, transferring, and using the bathroom.
- Engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation, such as reading, puzzles, and exercise.
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the care team.
Requirements:
- 1,000 hours of long-term care experience with geriatric or chronically ill persons (exceptions may be made for recently licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Personal Care Aids (PCAs)).
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
- Must have available reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by state) and a drug screen.
- This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position and subject to applicable state and federal regulations.
