Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Mechanical Intern to join our team at Stantec. As a Mechanical Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers and designers to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, including building load calculations, ductwork and equipment layouts. You will also assist with engineering duties on projects of various complexity and participate in project teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Working toward a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

What We Offer

Stantec offers a competitive salary range of $22.78 - $33.48 per hour, depending on education, qualifications, experience, and work location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage, and paid family leave. Work Environment

As a Mechanical Intern, you will work in a typical office environment with computers and remain sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements, including inclement weather.
