  • Location: Thomasville, North Carolina
  • 35 Bed Acute Care Unit
  • 6:1 Patient/Nurse Ratio

At CGH - Thomasville Medical Center, we cater to a diverse patient population requiring hospitalization for various medical conditions, including illness, surgical procedures, diagnostic testing, or observation. Our dedicated staff manages patients with a wide range of diagnoses such as COPD, Diabetes, Stroke, Heart Failure, and Surgical Patients Non-STEMI. The 3rd Floor unit also accommodates patients on drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Heparin. We are certified in COPD and stroke management and pride ourselves on our robust Mobility program alongside a comprehensive infection prevention initiative. Our patient-to-nurse ratio is optimized to 1:5 for those on cardiac drips.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.
  • Preferred: One year of relevant experience.
