Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Kaiser Permanente. As a leader in critical care, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize patient needs and make informed decisions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • One year of recent experience in critical care or successful completion of a KP Critical Care course.
  • Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred.
