- Currently managing a substantial pipeline of projects throughout Central Texas.
The role of the Commercial Construction Estimator involves:
- Clearly communicating project objectives to all stakeholders and accurately assessing project status and progress.
- Taking overall financial responsibility for project profitability, ensuring timely completion, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safety-oriented culture on-site.
- Managing change orders effectively for both subcontractors and owner contracts.
- Forecasting all project-related costs and reporting on budget and schedule performance.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial project estimating.
- Proficiency in project pre-planning, including staffing and strategic status meetings.
- Comprehensive understanding of the overall construction process.
- Experience with plan takeoffs, quantity analysis, and estimating methodologies.
