About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician to join our Sports Medicine Team as a nonoperative sports medicine provider at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work with a team of Family Medicine providers, Orthopedic Surgeons, and Physician Assistants to provide coverage to professional sports teams and grow the practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing upper and lower extremity musculoskeletal conditions both acute and chronic.
- Providing care to athletes of all levels.
- Collaborating with the team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- BE/BC in General Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine with subspecialty BE/BC in Sports Medicine.
- Experience in managing musculoskeletal conditions.
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA.
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
