  • Adjusts patient treatment plans based on responses, conditions, and physician directives.
  • Reviews and reports diagnostic tests to assess patients' health status.
  • Collaborates with physicians and healthcare professionals regarding assigned patients to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care strategies.

  • Prepares patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments, considering their age and cultural background.
  • Provides psychological support to foster a compassionate environment.
  • Administers medications and performs patient tests safely, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Maintains accurate records related to medications and treatments as per policies and physician orders.

  • Communicates care plans promptly to patients and families, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
  • Utilizes available resources for effective discharge planning.
  • Plans and prioritizes assignments to achieve goals and deliver exceptional patient care; seeks assistance when necessary.

  • Safely operates medical equipment and serves as a mentor to new staff, aiding their acclimatization to the healthcare environment.

  • Adheres to organizational policies and procedures, safeguarding institutional assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Certification and Licensing:
Florida Registered Nurse License

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification (ACLS)

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
Familiarity with medical terminology

Understanding of nursing care methods and procedures

Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety guidelines (e.g., sanitation, decontamination)

Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve various issues.

Capacity to maintain effective interpersonal relationships

Effective communication skills in both oral and written forms
