Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general cleaning tasks, including making beds, changing linens, organizing clothing, and tidying apartments.
  • Perform laundry services, which encompass washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens, towels, and personal garments, ensuring timely return to the respective units.
  • Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as the lobby, library, activity room, and dining areas by:
    • Vacuuming carpeted spaces and deep cleaning as necessary.
    • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in shared areas and restrooms.
    • Dusting and sanitizing furniture, handrails, and other communal items, including light fixtures and mirrors.
    • Cleaning and disinfecting doors, stairways, and walls.
    • Ensuring public restrooms are clean and well-stocked.
    • Cleaning glass surfaces and emptying waste receptacles.
  • Restock housekeeping supplies at the end of each shift.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and established policies.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies, notifying supervisors of any needs.
  • Assist in training new staff members.
  • Foster positive interactions with residents by responding to their requests promptly.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
