Dishwasher Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Covenant Living Communities. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the dishwashing machine and maintain a clean and organized dishroom.
  • Assist in other areas of the kitchen with maintenance of dish room and equipment.
  • Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations and maintain stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Transport carts to and from the appropriate dining areas and operate the dishwashing machine.
  • Monitor and record the water temperatures and cleaning compound usage.
  • Perform cleaning assignments as directed and clean and washed food-service carts, dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, etc.
  • Use proper sanitation in all food and service areas and maintain cleanliness in all work areas, equipment, and appliances.
  • Deliver food requests to stations as needed and keep all kitchen work areas and dining rooms clear of dirty dishes.
  • Sweep and mop floors and work areas and assist in the transportation of residents in case of fire, disaster, or emergency evacuation.
Requirements:
  • Previous relevant experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, oral and written, with residents, family members, and staff required.
