Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cart Runner to join our team at Festival Foods. As a Cart Runner, you will be responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, gathering carts, and safeguarding company assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that each customer receives exceptional service by providing a friendly and welcoming environment.
  • Be approachable, courteous, cooperative, and able to communicate effectively with associates and customers.
  • Responsible for maintaining standards according to the Guest Services expectations.
  • Perform prompt parcel pick-up service.
  • Collect shopping carts from parking lots and surrounding areas and return carts to store in various weather conditions.
  • Communicate customer requests to management.
  • Support and execute superior customer service.
  • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
Requirements
  • Ability to bag efficiently while maintaining product integrity.
  • Ability to communicate with associates and customers.
  • Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
  • Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
Work Environment

The associate must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; walk in the store; bend, stoop and lift or push up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination in order to operate equipment.
