Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Aviation Security Screener to join our team at Elite Team Logistics. As a Screener, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screening and Security
    • Operate hand-held metal detectors and electronic walk-through metal detectors to screen passengers for prohibited items.
    • Perform visual searches of bags, briefcases, and other carry-on items for prohibited items.
    • Assess situations and Notify local Law Enforcement and/or Airline Ground Security Coordinator when necessary.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Treat all information as confidential.
    • Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from clients, staff, and the public in a courteous manner.
    • Interact and communicate with the public, including those with limited or nonspeaking English proficiency, and individuals who may be confrontational and/or argumentative.
  • Physical Demands and Requirements
    • Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout the shift (2-4 hours at a time).
    • Physically capable of bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Requirements and Qualifications
    • Ability to read and write as part of the Identification verification of all passengers and the ability to communicate any changes to Ground Security Coordinator.
    • Must be a minimum of 18 years or older
    • Valid Driver's License or reliable transportation to and from the job
    • Pass Background Check and DOT drug screening
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Be a US citizen or permanent resident and have a valid work permit
