Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at CARTI. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT procedures to assist in disease diagnosis. This position is a Safety Sensitive Position, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT procedures as prescribed by a physician, including positioning patients for the proper view of the affected area and selecting the appropriate scan images to be transferred to a PACS system.
  • Obtain essential information from patients, medical records, and previous scans for clinical correlation, and instruct patients about the proper physiological requirements for the procedure.
  • Assist the Radiologist in the interpretation of patient exams and identify abnormal abnormalities.
  • Practice sterile techniques and prevent cross-contamination, handling blood and body fluids and dealing with infectious patient care tasks as needed.
  • Request charts and film folders from the online computer program.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma and graduation from an accredited Radiography school.
  • ARRT (CT) registered or registry eligible.
  • Current Radiologic Technology License (RTL) in good standing.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum one year of experience and/or training with graduate CTS.

Work Environment: This position involves potential exposure to infectious diseases. Colleagues are offered appropriate vaccinations and safety training.
